Ladies and Gentleman...Michelle Bachmann.

The latest in our Ladies and Gentleman...(insert Minnesota Politician Here) series (previous entries include Norm Coleman) is Republican crazy person Michelle Bachmann. Her latest gem regards encouraging the folks of Minnesota towards a revolution to overthrow Obama's government. Yeah!
"I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us 'having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,' and the people -- we the people -- are going to have to fight back hard if we're not going to lose our country. And I think this has the potential of changing the dynamic of freedom forever in the United States."
How dare we limit carbon emissions. Nothing like playing the 'freedom is in danger' card to discredit political opponents.

the key is to quote jefferson about revolutions whenever your party is not in power.

I don't get what she was saying--she was definitely not calling for a literal revolution... so what's the point of even bringing up a figurative revolution?

Yes, wh. That is what I thought. Armed and dangerous? What the hell does she mean?

Does she think that cap-and-trade tax will literally 'change the dynamic of freedom forever?' Because it probably won't.
Also, we Minnesotans don't want to lead an armed revolution. At least, not the ones I know.
